Do You Care?

I had a member of my church call me recently checking on me. He and some others had prayed for me the other day about the attacks of the evil one. Right after the prayer time, we dismissed and he saw what he thought might be another attack on me. The next morning, he called and was just checking on me. He cared!

You talk about being encouraged! His care and concern for me lifted me up at a time when the attacks were heavy. We need each other.

Who are you encouraging today? God wants to use you to  be an encouragement to fellow believers. You have to be listening and sensitive to His voice. When you are, you notice things and are able to care for people in practical ways.

Paul wrote in 1 Thessalonians 5:11, “Therefore encourage one another and build up one another, just as you also are doing.” Keep looking for ways to encourage each other. We all need stories of encouragement. How are you encouraging others? Share yours in the comments!

    Jim,

My old buddy and mentor. We miss you and the family. I feel like each day is another part of the battle, as the evil one continues to try and attack. I pray for you in this time, as I selfishly ask for your prayers for the same. We are so happy that God has led you back where you belong as a leader of the church. Take care. Love y’all!
